The Undeniable Beauty of the Beara Peninsula

Here are some photos from a recent trip to the Beara Peninsula. The images are more from the peninsula’s surrounding areas. I’m not good photographer. But the area is just so pretty that you cannot take a bad shot. Lovely.

There was actually an article posted this weekend about the Beara Peninsula in thejournal.ie – worth reading, tells you all the places to go and what to see. All I can tell you is that it’s beautiful here – well worth the trip. No fooling ;~)

Hope everyone is having a lovely holiday – wherever.

The Beara Peninsula

The Beara Peninsula is in West Cork, near Kerry. It’s found between the Kenmare “river” to the north and Bantry Bay to the south. It’s an absolutely gorgeous part of Ireland.

I’m not sure but think the photos I have here are actually more of the surrounding area rather than the peninsula. In case you didn’t know a peninsula is a piece of land almost surrounded by water or projecting out into a body of water. Did I know that? I think so. But I’d forgotten.

Anyway, it’s a very pretty part of the country.
