If you like that liquorice/aniseed flavour you should like this. It’s very rich and has the texture of gingerbread, The raspberry ganache is also very full on flavour. And they are both also packed with butter – definitely a diet-be-damned recipe. Hope you like it.

These scones are made with wholemeal flour, sun-dried tomatoes and black olives. So they’re full of good fat and fibre. Also full of gluten. I’m sorry to say there is no gluten-free alternative I can offer for these. But if wheat’s your friend – enjoy!
