These flourless caramel chocolate cake bars are my homemade gluten-free version of Cadbury’s Caramel Cake Bars. This is a very easy recipe. As I’m using shop-bought salted caramel sauce.
I call these Fruits of the Dark Forest Meringues because the meringue has some kirsch and cocoa in it – like a Black Forest Gateau. But it’s topped with a different selection of fruit. There’s no cherries in it.
An orange, polenta and almond cake topped with a fresh orange syrup and a thin coating of sweet dark chocolate.
