I changed address a couple of years ago and never bothered registering to vote at the new one. I’ve pretty much lost faith in a political model where you vote on people not policies, but I registered today because in referendums that’s exactly what you do – you vote on policies. And the upcoming ones are concerned with national policies not EU ones so you’ll only get the one chance to vote.
And how often do you get the chance to make society that bit more equal with such a simple action?
If you want to vote be sure and get registered by May 5th.
