At the end of 2015 I decided to rewrite The Fountainhead (1949) movie – because I didn’t like it and … it was fun distraction. I split the result into 12 parts and have posted a part each month in 2016. This is the last part. If you’ve been following it – hope you’ve enjoyed it as much as I have.

This is the second-last part of You Can Take Your Fountainhead With You & Swing It! In this part we see Gail and Dominique working together to support Howard – that’s from the original film – and we also see Edee giving Gail Wynand, the owner of Devitt Tower, a piece of her mind.
So this is the part of the movie where Howard (played by Gary Cooper) does the mad bad thing. What am I talking about? Only one way to find out – other than actually watch The Fountainhead, which I don’t recommend…
Gail meets Howard and it’s the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Peter and Ann are not being picked for projects. Peter laments this fact to Ellsworth and hears about the Cortlandt Homes project.
There’s more of the Bill and Rosie story in this bit… Oh yeah, and Dominique ‘punishes’ herself.
There’s a party in Cortlandt Homes to celebrates it’s opening. This one’s a little bit different to the original…
Dominique and Howard get together in this part. We learn a little more about Rosie, meet her parent’s and Mrs. Dubray, Edee’s grandmother. And Edee gets her spot at Totts.
So this is the Jeeves & Wooster bit in The Fountainhead…
Bertie and Bunny take a trip to Totts of Harlem – we meet some more characters there and hear some fine music.
